Failure. My heading is such a negative word. Haha. But today, I felt like a total failure. About two weeks ago, I made a decision to plan the Teacher's Day celebration for my class. Having experiences with planning events, I knew I needed a team. A team to help me. Because one can't achieve much and Together Everyone Achieve More. Haha. So I gathered a few people to form the committee. I assigned all of them jobs to do and today, the ones in charge of the Video thingy came up to me and said that we don't have enough time. I asked them, 'So what are you planning to do?' And instead, they asked me the same question adding that I was the in charge. I'm not saying that they are doing a horrible job, in fact I trust them in doing a good job but I just can't ignore the fact that because I was the in charge, I had to do everything. I mean, I assigned you guys jobs for a reason. That's because I can't do everything alone. I can help but it's kinda impossible for me to plan EVERYTHING right ? That's why I needed all the help I could get. So in the end, they came up with a solution and I'm really glad they did. It was rather assuring to hear the plan they had. But during the process of thinking of a solution, something happened. And that kinda demoralized me and made me felt like a failure. I was with the two girls in charge of the video thingy when you came. You cruelly told me that I was the in charge and I should be doing it too. The most frustrating thing is that I'm the one planning for the whole of the 2 hours of Home Period and I told my committee that I wanted to involve everyone, including the committee, into the activities I'm planning since it's our last year. I remember clearly telling them one of the many activities that I'm planning to give them a heads up on what's happening, since they're part of the committee. They nodded their head and I gave them other jobs such as planning for the video taking or being in charge of the food. So I was alone, planning two hours worth of activities. I wanted to put this 'burden' on my shoulder because I wanted to plan one last event and also plan for the whole class without involving anyone planning so that they can have fun. And so, you told me that I should at least tell my committee what I'm planning for the actual day. I was like, 'I told them already what!' AND DAMN. One of them said I never tell them anything. I was shocked and I said that I did tell them the plan! I explained that we were outside the class the other day and I told them one of the activities and also said that I would be planning the rest. Then she replied, 'Only like that!' I mean, what else do you want me to say ?! It was supposed to be a surprise for you guys, god damn it! What's worse is that you then asked me, 'Then you're the only game master?!' I answered, 'Ya! Then how many do I need?' And you rolled your eyes and turn your back on me and walked away. JUST LIKE THAT. WALKED AWAY WITHOUT SAYING A WORD. WTF MAN -.- Do you even know how fucking demoralizing that is? It shows how much you don't trust me. It shows that even my best friend can't even trust me. It shows that you thinks that I'm just a fucking failure that can't even host a game. It shows how much I suck and I can't seem to do anything right, can I? I always tell people to cheer up and look at the brighter side of life and all those bullshit. I mean, I still believe in them but don't you think it's a bit cruel to do that? I totally had no mood for lessons. Even got scolded by Mdm Sue during Eng lesson. Well, I forced myself to concentrate, using O levels for motivation. And as the day progress, we never talked. Not even once. I remember calling your name so many times and you ignored. A second later, someone called you and you replied immediately. Wow. That's totally not hurting my feelings at all. It wasn't the first time this happened. There's countless of times when we had unnecessary arguments. Stupid ones. you know, I even wondered if 'best friends' is the right status for us. I'm a HUGE believer of being positive (literally huge). So I ain't gonna let my EMO side take over my CHEERFUL side. Look on the bright side. There's PE tomorrow! :D I cross my finger and really hope that Teachers' Day would be successful. I just want to see the smile of the faces of my classmates and teachers. That's really enough to prove that I did it. I actually take this as a test to prove whether I'm capable to entertain people because that's one of the qualities needed to be a DJ. Haha. See ya soon! Suey. Just plain suey. Hey! So I'm back for another blog post! It has been a busy week and I've met with so many unlucky things! :( The first was when I was jogging around my neighborhood and I accidentally knocked onto a pole while running. The sad thing was that I had my phone screen strapped around my arm and I knocked onto the pole with my arm! >< OMG. Then there's a small crack on the screen protector! WALAO. SUEY MAX. Then after that I actually learnt about something which I wished I never knew but I'd rather not talk about it. The last thing was that my phone was confiscated yesterday! ARGHHHH. Some China company called me and I was wondering who called so I took out my phone in class and apparently I got caught -.- I have to wait for a month before I can collect my phone back. Unless I bring my parents along next Tuesday, then I can get it back on that day. Well, luckily the phone is with Mdm Su so I'm kinda relieved. I don't mind bringing my parents to see Mdm Su. She's nice. HAHA. But I'm still considering whether to ask my parents to go or not. Anyway, tomorrow is finally time for Colour Run! I can't wait!!! :D This is my first run and I bet it's gonna be fun! C'mon, it's the happiest 5km run on the planet! So apparently, my phone isn't with me so I can't instagram the photos that's gonna be taken tomorrow. Well... There's a throwback hashtag for a reason. Hahaha. Sooooo... That's my post for today! I'll be back with the Color Run photos! BYEBYEEEEE. |

Memories. Soooooo... HEY! It's been quite a while since I've blogged. Decided to post something because I'm kinda boredddd. Hahaha. So I've just finished a 4km night jog and it's rather disappointing. My timing always never seem to improve! ARGHHHH. Was hoping to reach the 2.4 mark in 10 mins plus but always end up reaching there in 11 min plus. So anywayyy, I reached and had to help me dad upload pictures from his phone into the com and I happened to open the OCIP picture file and start missing that awesome trip. I've never did a photo collage for OCIP so here's my picture storybook which tells my journey to Thailand! :D
The three musketeers on the way to Thailand! Actually, we look like some Fedex man delivering to Thailand. Okay no. Maybe just me. HAHA.
Miss Lim came to send us off! SO SWEET. HAHA. Bet she came for me only. LOL. Okay just kidding.
Sawadee Krap!
Fedex guy appear once again!
Sadly I did not take any photo in the airplane cause I was sitting with the teachers. So here's our first day in MaeChaem School!
Okay guys, so this is called sweets. HAHA. And I actually learnt what is sweet in Thai. It's Moji! HAHA.
Games time! Teaching them how to play this game of passing the ball using newspaper.
Everyone enjoyed the game while I was the cameraman. :( If you can spot me all the way at the end :)
Just kidding! How could I not have my share of fun!
And Day 2 arrives in the blink of an eye...
Starting the early morning with a bit of an excitement! It's LIMBO! :D
Fierce battle siaaaa.
Look at that gap between me and the rope! DAMN I'm awesome.
Repeat after me. 'Wanton SOUP'. HAHAHA. Teaching them some local dishes in English!
New local dish! HAHAHA
Time for some outdoor activities! Playing this game where you have to tap each other's knee to eliminate that person. Apparently MingJie's not scared. HAHAAH
Look at that dodge. OMGGGG. I'm an action movie star.
A tiring day 2 finally ended and now it's Day 3, also known as their PE day! Pardon the gay photo as we were playing volleyball and I went to pick up the ball but there was a truck passing by so I had to wait thus, the photo was taken.
My butt sticking out pose that got very famous in Thailand. HAHAHA.
And so we went to visit another village after ending school. And there's lots of jump shots.
Group jump shot!
Okay last photo before my post over flood with pictures. Okay it's actually overflooded.
And Day 4 arrives! It's Uniform Group for them today! YAY!
Waking the students up with WHACKO early in the morning!
Looks like I'm wide awake huh.
Since I'm awake, it's now my job to wake others up with a game of 'OUCH' !
And I got my retribution ...
Well it's actually our last day teaching them so quickly snapping some pictures with our students! :D
And did I mention that our students are actually older than us ?! OMG. Some are the same age as us and some are older by 2 years.
Secretly taking a picture with one of the student!
And so since it's our last day teaching them, there's a farewell party, also known as the Khantoke Dinner! All of us are required to wear traditional costumes and honestly, I swear this is the best dinner of my life.
Denise and I with two of our students!
Guess her name. It'S MOJI! Remember ? It means sweet in Thai.
Presenting Mingjie and Benjamin's awkward dance moves!
Everything must come to an end. It's officially our last day with them. It's a short day where we present performances with our class to the WHOLE SCHOOL. And also interact a bit with our students before leaving.
Dancing to the new Thai cheer we learnt!
Just me shouting some cheers.
Before leaving, taking photos is a must! With 2 of my other students!
And then everyone started crying.
The two big brave man that eventually broke down into tears! Wait. I look so happy here. LOL.
Cuddling together to say our last goodbyes!
Making a vow that we would never forget each other.
And this is my class! Though not a big class but definitely left a big impact.
The problem about leaving is that no one bears to leave each other. Look at that. Even students not from my class love me so much. Signing autographs and all. DAMN I'M FAMOUS. HAHAHA.
Look at that. It's no joke!
And so we finally left.
But the trip ain't ending yet! It's time for our holidays! At the beautiful waterfall in Thailand!
It's really tiring to climb up the waterfall but I'm the muscleman. So it doesn't matter.
Enjoying a cooling cup of coffee in this hot weather! THE COFFEE THERE IS DAMN NICE I SWEAR.
Me and my awesome douchebag which I love so much! <3 Okay that's gay...
After that, we went to the zoo! Look at the bird on my hand! FIRST TIME HOLDING BIRD SIA.
And we get to enjoy a ride on elephants' back!!! AWESOME EXPERIENCE. Kinda scary though.
Close up shot with MingJie not paying attention to the camera -.-
It's actually 1:16am now. So to cut the story short, after the elephant ride, we went back to the hotel and rest. After that, we went to the night bazaar and have a shopping spree! The next day, we went to this silk factory and then the 'Umbrella factory' where you can design anything on anything! This is a picture of me with the artist drawing a ChiangMai design on a shirt! IT'S AWESOME.
At night, we're going to another walking street! A picture of 'Douchebags' before leaving the hotel.
And the food there may not be high class food. BUT IT'S DEFINITELY DELICIOUS!
And it's finally time to go home. Back to Singapore.
Without hesitation, I would say this is the best 8 days of my life. Thanks everyone for leaving such a big impact in my life. I would never ever forget this experience. Till we see again next time! :')
And that concludes my journey to Thailand! HAHA. This actually took me 2 hours to complete! OMG. So it's actually 1:24am. SOOO LATEEEE ALREADYYYYY. Guess it's time for me to sleep! CIAO! And also... HAPPY 48TH BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE! :D
